The paper on The Halliwick Concept 2000
written for lecturers and assistant/trainee lecturers, was agreed
at the IHA General Meeting. It has taken over 2 years of discussion
so at last it is completed! The main change is regarding the Ten
Point Programme and each country will be responsible for explaining
these changes to those using Halliwick in their country.
The IHA Education and Research Committee also
met over the same weekend as the General Meeting and held a meeting
in April this year. The main items discussed have been:
-

The Educational/Training Systems recognised
by IHA. In the paper produced about this we have stressed
that there is more in common between the different training
systems than there are differences and we hope to work towards
one system in the not too distant future.
-
The IHA Education and Research Committee and
the Executive Committee have agreed changes to the formation
of the IHA Education and Research Committee. More details will
be given about this when they have been finalised.

being in March 2002.
